This is a kit of two (2) high quality female socket plus rubber sealing washers. #2CR/2SW
Each socket is marine grade and is weather and UV resistant. The contacts are nickel plated and the socket body is heavy plastic. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. It requires an 1 1/8" hole for mounting and has .250 quick spade type male connectors. It can be mounted against a panel with the retaining nut on panels up to 1-1/4" thick. The rubber sealing washer makes the assembly water resistant. The socket is rated for 15 amps at 12 volts but can operate with peak loads of 15 amps. Socket draws no power when not in use so it can't run your battery down.
Works with any standard cigarette lighter style plug.
Not for hot lighter use.
This assembly is also available with illumination. When power is active to the socket the interior will glow bright green, white, yellow, red, or blue to indicate that it is active. Please see our other listing.
