This is a kit of a weatherproof female socket The socket is marine grade and is weather resistant, the opening has a vinyl cap and the contacts are protected by a slip on vinyl boot with a egress for the wires. The contacts are nickel plated. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. Like the factory equivalent requires an 1 1/8" hole for mounting and has .250 quick male connectors. Rated at 15 amps. Draws no power when not in use.
Works with any standard cigarette lighter style accessory plug.
Not for hot lighter use.
