True 4.2 amp charger. What does true rated charging current mean? Unlike less expensive chargers Our chargers are rated at true currents, which means they can sustain the rated charging current indefinitely and have the ability to charge at 20% higher current for peak demand. Less expensive chargers are specified at there peak rating but can't sustain that for prolonged periods.The charger will cut in and out causing a slow charge.

The charger body is a nylon with all nickel plated parts. The weatherproof cap fits into and over the front of the charger to keep moisture out when not in use. The charger has 0.250 male spade type terminals for easy wire connections. Comes with interconnecting wire jumper for faster installation.

This charger is rated for true 4.2 amps at 5 volts and can accept two USB devices. The charger use built in integrated semiconductor technology to produce a constant 5 Volts DC This constant voltage source is important for operating and charging the batteries of your accessories, from a 12 volt source. Rapid charging, over voltage and short circuit protection.

12 Volt Socket:
