Marine Grade Socket:
The accessory socket is marine grade and is weather and UV resistant. The cap seals the front of the socket, should water get in, the socket is self bailing. The body is nylon plastic for strength and light weight. The contacts are nickel plated over brass. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. It requires an 1 1/8" hole for mounting and has .250 quick male spade type quick connectors. Rated for 15 amps at 12 volts. This socket draws no power when not in use so it can't run your battery down.
Works with any standard cigarette lighter style plug or lockable marine plug. A locking plug looks like a regular male lighter plug but when twisted in this socket can not be pulled out easily, unless twisted again. Not for hot lighter use.
The Mount:
The dual mount can attach to a 3/4", 7/8" and 1" rail or handlebars. The mount is black UV resistant nylon and attaches to the handlebars or rail with a rail clamp and four screws.
The USB Chargers:
Each of the 3.1 amp USB charging sockets have an all in one integrated design. Has two ports one charging at 2.1 amp and one charging at 1 amp. A tight fitting cap protects the USB ports when not in use. All nylon construction and UV resistant.
