This socket can be used for both lighting cigarette or for accessories such as GPS, 12 volt chargers or iPods. Works with all lighter plugs and all 12 volt style accessory plugs. (The lighter plugs shown are not included in this listing).

 This listing is for one lighter socket which has a heavy nylon UV resistant body and a nickel plated core. A vinyl opening cap inserts into the core and snaps over the socket rim to produce a waterproof seal A rubber terminals boot is included to cover the wire connections. Also a panel rubber sealing washer.

The socket works with all pop out style lighter plugs or with standard accessory plugs. Internal prongs hold the plug for better vibration resistance. The terminals are male 0.250 or 6mm style crimp terminals. The socket mounts into a 1-1/8" hole. It is rated a 20 amps at 12 volts. Socket length from flange to the end of the terminals is 2.0" deep. 

Two ways to mount this socket. It can be mounted against a panel that is up to 1-1/4" thick by using the socket nut supplied. The nut tightens on the socket body to secure the socket to the panel.
