This is is a highest quality female socket kit The socket is marine grade and is weather and UV resistant. The body is nylon plastic for strength and light weight. The contacts are nickel plated over brass. The socket is vibration resistant. It requires an 1 1/8" hole for mounting and has .250 quick male spade type quick connectors. Rated for 15 amps at 12 volts DC. Weight 1oz. This socket draws no power when not in use so it can't run your battery down.
It can be mounted against a panel with the retaining nut for panels up to 1-1/4" thick. Retaining nut style may vary slightly.
Works with any standard cigarette lighter style plug.
