This listing is for one quality socket and one 60 inch (5 ft.) wire harness / loom assembly made with red and black low profile wire in a black insulation sleeve.
The socket is weather and UV resistant. The cap is over sized for extreme weather and fits tightly in the opening making the assembly waterproof. The contacts are nickel plated and the socket body is heavy nylon plastic. It requires an 1 1/8" hole for mounting and has .250 quick spade type male connectors. It can be mounted against a panel with the retaining nut on panels up to 1-1/4" thick. For a thicker panel use the included compression plate which keeps the socket in place from the front on a panel of any thickness. The socket is rated for 15 amps at 12 volts. Draws no power when not in use, so it can't run down your battery.
The harness has a molded in waterproof vinyl ATC fuse holder and a 15 amp fuse inserted in the red lead. The harness is terminated with female crimp or spade connectors and 1/4" ring terminals that are compatible with most motorcycle style batteries.
