Why is this charger special.

Distributed power technology. With one or two devices plugged into the charger the charging current will be distributed to the ports as need by the device being charged to produce a maximum rate of charge.

It also maintains a constant voltage source which is important for operating and charging the batteries of your accessories, from a variable 12 volt source.

This listing is for one ultra high power USB dual charger socket with weatherproof, a waterproof single pole single through switch (SPST), mounting plate and 36 inch fused harness with waterproof fuse holder with 15 amp fuse. The charger and switch body are a heavy nylon with all nickel plated parts. The weatherproof rubber cap snaps over the front of the charger, to cover the whole charger assembly, to keep moisture out when not in use. The switch also has a waterproof cover cap. Both have 0.250 male spade type terminals for easy wire connections.

This charger is rated for 6.0 amps at 5 volts and can accept two USB devices. The core is replaceable for easy repair.

The switch is an SPST type and is enclosed at the back. The wire connections have male 1/4" spade crimps.

Both fit in a 1-1/8" hole in panels up to 1-1/4 inch thick with just the backing nuts and in panels of unlimited thickness by placing the rectangular compression plate over the front of the bodies and securing it with four screws (included).

The 36 inch harness and comes with a waterproof fuse holder.
