The charger insert fits our nylon 12 volt sockets, power outlets or cigarette lighter outlet. The weatherproof cap snaps over the front of the charger to keep moisture out when not in use. The plug skirt fits over any USB plug and protects the connection from water intrusion when the plug is connected to the insert.
The charger is rated for 1600 ma. at 5 VDC with a USB devices. Unlike less expensive charger adapters, this charger has integrated semiconductor technology to produce a constant 5 Volts DC to charge the batteries of your phone, GPS and other accessories.
