These sockets can be used for both lighting cigarette or for accessories such as GPS, 12 volt chargers or iPods. Works with all lighter plugs and all 12 volt style accessory plugs.

This listing is for three heavy duty lighter sockets which have a nylon UV resistant body and a nickel plated cores and a voltmeter. Each of the sockets have a vinyl opening cap inserts into the core and snaps over the socket rim to produce a waterproof seal. The socket works with all pop out style lighter plugs or with standard accessory plugs. Internal prongs hold the plug for better vibration resistance. The terminals are male 0.250 or 6mm style crimp terminals. The sockets mount into a 1-1/8" holes. They are rated a 20 amps at 12 volts. Socket length from the front flange to the end of the terminals is 2.0".

Two ways to mount this sockets. Can be mounted against a panel or dashboards that is up to 1-1/4" thick by using the socket nuts supplied. The nut tightens on the socket body to secure the socket to the panel. Or they can be mounted to even thicker panels by using the triple compression plate with four screws. The plate goes over the front of the socket flange and the four screw press the socket up against the panel from the front.
