The socket bodies are heavy nylon with all nickel plated parts. Each have weatherproof caps that snap over the front opening to keep moisture out when not in use. Snap over caps produce a more waterproof seal than plug in caps. The sockets have 0.250 male spade type terminals for easy wire connections.

The socket fits in a 1-1/8" hole in panels up to 1-1/4 inch thick with just the backing nut and in panels of unlimited thickness by placing the rectangular compression plate over the front of the socket and securing it with two screws.

The Charger:

The charger is rated for 2.1 amps at 5 Volts and can accept two USB devices. This charger uses built in integrated semiconductor technology to produce a constant 5 Volts DC.

No LED to draw down your battery.

Repairable and replaceable core. USB connectors are very delicate and are prone to water damage when used outdoors. The core can be changed from the front without having to rewire and replace the whole charger.

The Socket:

Rated for 20 amps at 12 volt. Works with all 12 volt style plugs. Can be used for high power 12 volt appliances, chargers or for lighting cigarettes. Prong design holds plugs better than other lighter sockets. High current plugs at our other listings.

Lighter Plug:

The pop out lighter plug come with a vinyl plug boot or skirt. This makes the plug socket combination more waterproof. When using a 12 volt plug and socket combination outdoors, there is a gap between the socket and the plug that is susceptible to water entry. When the plug is inserted into the power outlet / socket, the boot presses up against the socket surface and forms a seal. No more blown fuses or intermittent operation.

Interconnect jumper cable:

Allows you to connect up both sockets and make one neat connection to both from you power cable.
