True 4.2 amp charger. What does true rated charging current mean? Our chargers are rated at true currents, which means they can sustain the rated charging current indefinitely and have the ability to charge at 20% higher current for peak demand. Less expensive chargers are specified at there peak rating but can't sustain that for prolonged periods.The charger will cut in and out causing a slow charge.
The charger body is a heavy gauge with all nickel plated parts. The weatherproof cap fits into and over the front of the charger to keep moisture out when not in use. The charger has 0.250 male spade type terminals for easy wire connections. Comes with interconnecting wire jumper for faster installation.

This charger is rated for true 4.2 amps at 5 volts and can accept two USB devices. The charger produces a constant 5 Volts DC. This constant voltage source is important for operating and charging the batteries of your accessories, from a 12 volt source. Produces rapid charging, over voltage and short circuit protection.
12 Volt Socket:
The socket is marine grade and is weather and UV resistant. The contacts are nickel plated and the socket has a rugged body. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. The socket for 15 amps at 12 volts.

Each socket mounts in a 1-1/8" hole. See hole template above for more dimensions. Mounts in panels of unlimited thickness.
The wire harness is 36 inches long with a waterproof fuse holder and 15 amp fuse. Ring terminal allow for direct battery connection and female disconnects attach directly to the assembly.
