This is a kit of one female metal socket with cap, 60 in. fused wiring harness with water resistant boot, a special socket mount as shown.

ThisĀ first one is for anĀ accessory socket for 12 volt plug and chargers. Not for hot lighter use.Ā It is slightly longer and capable of carrying more power up to 20 amps at 12 volts. It fits in the same size hole as a standard lighter socket. It is an accessory socket because internally it has a smooth bore, no lighter plug prongsĀ and a heavy duty ceramic base positive contact.Ā
The socket assembly consists of a core socket that is nickle plated and has a ceramic insulator with copper/brass contacts and a clear socket bezel. The outer insulating shell is nickel plated and screws onto the core socket. The socket has extra strong prongs to hold a lighter plug i high vibration operation. Rated at 240 watts 20 amps at 12 volts.
Works with any current standard cigarette lighter plug or 12 volt accessory plugs.
The wire harness or loom is 60 inches long, has female quick connects to plug it into the socket, ring connectors to attach to your battery, waterproof fuse holder and a 15 amp fuse.
The mount clamps on to the handlebars and clamps the socket securely the mount. A series of rubber bushings allow the mount to adapt to handlebars from 7/8" to 1-1/2" in diameter.
