Wall mounting plate and 12 volt socket. #CS/mwmnt/2fmcon
This listing is for a utility box face plate in brushed steel, pre-drilled with a 1-1/8" hole that accepts the socket shown that is included. Size of plate is 2-3/4" x 4-1/2". The plate and socket is also available in black nylon see our other listing. Screw spacing meets, North American, Australian, and New Zealand utility box standards.
The socket is marine grade and is weather and UV resistant. The contacts are nickel plated brass and the socket body is heavy plastic. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions.. The socket for 15 amps at 12 volts. Socket draws no power when not in use so it can't run your battery down.
Works with any standard cigarette lighter plug or lockable marine plug. Check our other auction if you need a locking plug. A locking plug looks like a regular male lighter plug but when twisted in this socket can not be pulled out easily, unless twisted again. It is weather resistant and vibration proof.
Not for hot lighter use.
