This is a high quality female socket kit with a waterproof fuse holder and fuse. The socket is marine grade and is weather and UV resistant. The cap seals the front of the socket, should water get in, the socket is self bailing. The body is nylon plastic for strength and light weight. The contacts are nickel plated over brass. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. It requires an 1 1/8" hole for mounting and has .250 quick male spade type quick connectors. Rated for 15 amp at 12 volts. Weight 1oz. This socket draws no power when not in use so it can't run your battery down.
It can be mounted against a panel with the retaining nut for panel thickness up to 1-1/4".
Works with any standard cigarette lighter plug or lockable marine plug. Check my other auction if you need a locking plug. A locking plug looks like a regular male lighter plug but when twisted in this socket can not be pulled out easily, unless twisted again.
Waterproof fuse holder has a 8" loop 14 awg and comes with a fuse.
