This is a kit of a female socket assembly and a waterproof fuse holder and fuse. The socket is marine grade and is weather resistant made out of heavy nylon plastic. A cap included seals the front of the socket while a boot protects the wire contacts from weather. The contacts are nickel plated. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. It requires an 1 1/8" hole for mounting and has .250 quick male connectors. It can be mounted against a panel, up to 1-1/4 thick, with the retaining nut or for a thicker panel with the compression plate. The 16 AWG fuse holder is waterproof and is rated for 15 amps at 12 volt comes with a 15 amp fuse. Draws no power when not in use.
The socket works with any standard cigarette lighter style plug.
The fuse holder is a USA brand high quality marine grade inline Littlefuse. It is rated at 20 amps and comes with a 15 amp fuse.
