Protects the wire contacts from exposure. Used in installations were minimum clearance is available behind the socket. Reduces installation clearance by 1/2". The boot has an opening for the wires at its base. When placed over the wire connections the assembly becomes even more weather resistant. It fits all sockets that are 1 1/8" in diameter as shown above. The socket assembly shown is not included in this auction, only the boot.

This boot can be retrofitted to an existing installation.
